Adelaide's Got a Crush on Obama

Adelaide really wishes that mommy had gotten to see Barack Obama at Tessaro's last night since she's a huge Obama supporter. I told her that maybe Mrs. Obama will have liked her food so much that she'll bring him back when he's actually in town. She was barely comforted by that since dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant. And she doesn't believe I'll be able to lure him to the house to meet her.
Me: "But it's only two blocks, that's not far to walk"
Adelaide communicating through her eyes: "The secret service is not going to be OK with any of that"

She's probably right. I'll just have to to tell him about her should he ever find his way into Bloomfield.
