I've been watching the Academy Awards and it always makes me think of my dad. My dad loves when other people win things. Every year he'd watch the awards (or tape them if he had to work) and he'd be so happy when people won and if they got emotional he'd tear up too. That's one of the things I love best about him, how he roots for perfect strangers to win. I can be pretty snarky sometimes but I hope I have a little bit of that in me.
