Mother's Day

Dear Eli,

Sometimes mommy is so busy trying to get through the day that she forgets to appreciate all the little moments that come in between dinner time and bath time and bed time. And sometimes mommy gets frustrated and is not as sweet as she should be. Sometimes mommy wants to get drunk and lock herself in the bathroom when you start having a hissy fit. But she always loves you. I wouldn't be a mom if you weren't around driving me crazy and melting my heart. Someday I'm going to miss those drooly open mouth kisses you're so generous with right now. Don't grow up too fast kid.
